Toyota / Lexus Recall 2010 – List of Models / Cars. It’s a case of déjà vu all over again, as the world’s largest auto manufacturer, Toyota, suffers yet another possible massive recall disaster.
The company has already recalled more than 8 million autos across the globe because of brake and acceleration difficulties suffered in many models.
Now comes the news that Toyota is thinking about recalling the high-end Lexus LS460 luxury vehicle. Apparently the engine can stall and may, or may not, restart. Figures reveal that there may be as many as 90,000 of these vehicles affected in Japan alone, with probably double that spread around the rest of the world.
Engines are affected by a small but significant valve spring, and a host of Toyota vehicles, Lexus GS 450h, Lexus GS 350, Lexus IS 350, Lexus GS 460, Lexus LS 600h, Lexus LS 460, and the Toyota Crown are involved.
The company says that they have received no reports of any incidents or accidents in relation to the engine problem.
